These fotos are from the Niki McClure exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland. I’ve been a big Niki M. fan for a while and currently, thanks to sista Lyd, rock a Niki calendar in my bedroom. She does amazing paper cutting art and it was wonderful to see her work up close and personal. She’s also a pretty rad lady and it was neat to learn about her connections to some of our favorite bands, the riot girl movement and the general awesomeness of the pacific north west’s art scene.
